That way you can just buy a few hundred or thousand more hay from Marnie when convenient, shove it in the chest, and not worry about it. Silo can either be bought at Robin‘s carpentry house shop or crafted by yourself. ![]() If money isn't an issue, you can do what I do, and have a chest full of hay (hundreds or thousands of hay) next to a silo, and shove more in there once every X days (once per week per silo is my typical schedule, so if I had 2 silos, once every other week). Hay can be placed into a silo by holding the hay in inventory and right-clicking on the Hay Hopper. Im not sure what happens if you remove the Silo, but if you have a Coop or Barn, you can empty all the hay before you destroy it, and then put it back in once you have rebuilt. To get Hay out of the Silo in Stardew Valley, you need to approach the Hay Hopper inside the Barn/Coop and interact with it. If you destroy them before building new ones youll loose your hay. As indicated, at 50g per animal per day, just buying it certainly works as well, and leaves the rest of your farm clear to do other things. To keep the current hay youll need to build the new silos before destroying the old ones. Of course this only applies if you care about them eating fresh grass at all. Um eure Silos mit Heu zu füllen, geht ihr so vor: Sucht auf eurer Farm nach Gras-Stellen. Large fields of nothing but grass won't spread anywhere but at the edges, so instead, make it like swiss cheese, and repeat the process as the holes fill in. Die Tiere brauchen dann allerdings Heu (Hay), wenn ihr sie nicht raus lasst oder es Winter ist. Grass begets grass, so the key to efficiently harvesting it is to cut out little chunks all over the place, so there's plenty left spread out which can quickly fill in the gaps. Don't let animals do so either, have at least one grass field apart from them entirely. You can just hold your take button to grab alot. Hold something else like your tools while taking out hays. The game thinks you want to put the hay youre holding in the silo. Its probably because youre holding the hay. ![]() ![]() The biggest thing I'd emphasize is, don't full clear grass if you're farming hay. I put a chest next to the hopper to transfer them but it truly takes forever and I cant imagine theres not a faster way.
